ONE FOOT IN THE BLUES FEATURES VINTAGE ZZ TOP CUTS Warner Bros. Records announces the worldwide release of One Foot In The Blues, a collection of seventeen classic blues originals from ZZ Top. The album, which contains tracks culled from the band's London and Warner Bros. Records years, will be in stores in the U.S. on November 22. Internationally, it will be released in Germany, Spain and Italy, on November 11; England, November 14; Holland, November 18; Sweden, November 21; France, November 22; Australia, December 5; Canada, December 6 and Japan on December 21 with other territory release dates to follow. One Foot In The Blues contains the tracks selected from their London and Warner Bros. Records years and includes: "Brown Sugar," "Just Got Back From Baby's," "Old Man" and "Certified Blues," from the group's 1970 debut release, ZZ Top's First Album; "Apologies To Pearly," "Sure Got Cold After The Rain Fell" and "Bar-B-Q" from 1972's Rio Grande Mud; "Hot, Blue And Righteous" from 1973's Tres Hombres; "A Fool For Your Stockings," "She Loves My Automobile," "Hi Fi Mama" and "Lowdown In The Street," from 1979's Deguello; "Heaven, Hell, Or Houston," from 1981's El Loco; "I Need You Tonight" and "If I Could Only Flag Her Down" from 1983's Eliminator and "My Head's In Mississippi" and "2000 Blues" from 1990's Recycler. The packaging features vintage photos, highlighting a pre-bearded, Seventies-era photo of the trio as well as liner notes from Warner Bros. Records Vice President of Publicity Bill Bentley. Anticipation over the release of One Foot In The Blues is particularly keen internationally, where ZZ Top and the blues have long been synonymous. As Warner Bros.
